River Dart, Deep in the Dart Gorge, Simon's Lake. This is about halfway between New Bridge and Dartmeet. One can swim here. It is possible to pick up a track up the stream, Simon's Lake that takes you up to Mel Tor, and then head back to New Bridge along Dr Blackalls Drive, with some fantastic views. Allow the best part of a day for this circular route. Some scrambling and uneven ground.
