I parked at Four Winds car park and walked up the military track in the dark to arrive on the Tor for pre-dawn. Continued to the River Walkham. A privilege to be out on Dartmoor at this time of day. There is a military firing range pole in the foreground. A red flag is raised on this when the military is on exercise in this range and firing. All part of the rich tapestry of Dartmoor.
