Houndtor at sunrise, cist in foreground. The light in this golden hour was spectacular. I found an interesting foreground with the Bronze Age Cist, laden with fresh snow, the first light hitting the cist. A small granite chamber, thought to be for housing a chief's ashes is surrounded by a stone circle, C1500 BC. As I was taking this shot, some Dartmoor Ponies wandered into the scene!
