I was walking through Yarner Woods on a commission when I stumbled across this newly born Roe Deer Fawn. It allowed me to get a couple of meters away and set up my tripod. There was no sign of its mother. After a while, it staggered to its legs, took some shaky steps to a nearby brook, took a drink, then settled down in the foliage. I left it for its mother to tend to. An encounter of a lifetime!
